The Swiss Federal Railways (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen, SBB) has awarded a €4.15 million contract to Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik GmbH (BVV) of Germany for the supply of railway wheel components under the project titled “OneWheel Flotte P.” The award was officially published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ S 182/2025) on 23 September 2025.Contract OverviewThe procurement, conducted under an open procedure, concerns the regular replacement of worn components-specifically driving and running wheels - for SBB’s EW IV, DPZ, and EC vehicle fleets during scheduled overhauls.
