- The 2K5 project is the expansion of the Zurich-Hagenholz waste-to-energy power plant by a third one Combustion line. The project consists of the main and secondary procedural lots. For details see Part B project description. The dry slag discharge The existing two lines 2K1 and 2K3 will be converted as part of the project. During the assembly period, the slag from the two lines is discharged wet for around eight months (2K1) and three months (2K3). Subject of this tender the loading, transport, unloading and subsequent landfilling of the wet discharged slag (90 tons per line per day, total approx. 31,000 tons) at an approved Type D landfill in Switzerland. This tender replaces the canceled one Submission 2025-36 Wet slag disposal and transport, which was published on Simap on August 22, 2025. 3. Combustion line 2K5 Sub. No. 2025-66, wet slag disposal and transport The 2K5 project is the expansion of the waste-to-energy plant Zurich-Hagenholz for a third Combustion line.
