Description:
The Distic (Division of Information and Communication System and Technologies), operates the IT network of the University of Geneva.
This network is made up in particular of routers and switches. A number of these equipment have arrived at the end of their life and must be replaced.This project is part of a logic of obsolescence management and response to the growing needs of the University of Geneva in terms of connectivity and security.
This is not a project to set up a new infrastructure but the modernization of an infrastructureexisting computer. The necessary equipment will be necessarily of the Cisco manufacturer's brand, in order to integrate with existing infrastructure and management tools.
