- DISTIC (Division of Information and Communication Systems and Technologies) operates the computer network of the University of Geneva. This network is composed in particular of routers and switches. A certain number of this equipment arrived in end of life and must be replaced. This project is part of a logic of managing obsolescence and responding to the growing needs of the University in terms of connectivity and security. This is not a project to set up a new infrastructure but for the modernization of an existing IT infrastructure, the necessary hardware will necessarily be of the brand of the manufacturer Cisco, in order to integrate with the existing infrastructure and management tools. Besides the supply (acquisition and recovery), a Cisco Enterprise Wireless Agreement renewal over 5 years, with an annual billing method is necessary.
