The offer for the Step AS 2030/35 include the quarter-hour time Zurich Museumstrasse-Regensdorf for the S-Bahn (train length up to 300 m), 8 freight train lines in the Furttal in the direction of East-West (train lengths up to 750 m) and 2 routes in west-east. The existing rail infrastructure In Zurich Seebach, the handling of this offer no longer allows. In particular, the length of the intersection tracks for freight traffic and the perron length are no longer sufficient. The other offers of S-Bahn and freight transport formulated for this room require additional routes on Kaferberg. With the consistent application of the minimally possible train consequences on the Kaferberg and an additional change of lane in Oerlikon Nord, the necessary capacities can be provided.
