Description:
The Thonex-Vallard customs platform, located on the address route Blanche 24, 1226 Thonex was built in the mid-1970s. Various buildings were erected at the energy standards of the time including a main building dedicated to the administrative (window, offices, meeting room, Cafeteria, control and retention premises and forward-looking offices), a trigger and truck unloading and control quay, a vehicle control garage, a traffic control dawn (Swiss entrance). An extension was built in 2009 including an administrative building (offices, Retention room and changing rooms) and garages for service vehicles. Buildings have never been the subject of renovation, apart from a boiler that was replaced in 2015 and do not meet the energy requirements of the Canton of Geneva, or the safety and functional requirements OFDF standards.
