- The properties Bollwerk 27 and 29, which are connected in an administration building, are to be renovated after 25 years of use and adapted to the state of the art. The building is located in the UNESCO perimeter of Bern's old town and is in the building inventory City of Bern registered as worthy of protection. The renovation measures essentially include the building envelope including the roof skylight, building technology systems, fire protection, security requirements, adjustments to future use as well as the interior surfaces. The Federal Office for Information Technology and Telecommunications (BIT) store at Bollwerk 29 is not part of the project and will remain in operation during the renovation.
