- A building automation system must be installed throughout the entire building. Building automation is required to comply with Minergie regulations in functional buildings. Building automation is required for the following points: - Sun protection/shading: One Automatic shading according to the position and irradiation of the sun, which is measured with a weather station and makes the shading controllable for sun protection/overheating protection. This means that summer thermal protection supports free cooling Supported by underfloor heating and cooling via ventilation. - Room automation (heating / cooling): Room thermostats integrated into the switch via KNX, individual room regulation with heating/cooling actuators (same actuator depending on the outside temperature). As well as Presence detectors with integrated temperature sensors in rooms without switches. Preventing parallel heating/cooling operation. - Ventilation: Control of the volume flow controller for automatic regulation of the air flow rate. - Light: presence detector in all relevant rooms with windows for constant light control/daylight-dependent control. So that the light can be dimmed after daylight, it is switched off when you are away. The automatic light control saves energy and prevents unnecessary heat generation.
