Since 2010, the Bern Canton Police have consistently and exclusively used the VMware product as a server virtualization platform to optimize hardware usage. After initially using a few licenses, server virtualization has grown in the Bern Cantonal Police in recent years, so that the renewal will now be put out to tender over several years using an open procedure.
This tender is looking for a single provider who can provide licenses from Broadcom (VMware products) as well as VDI Horizon from Omnissa to the Bern Cantonal Police as a reseller can provide. The Bern Cantonal Police is looking for a reliable and competent provider with whom a framework agreement can be concluded for the purchase of Broadcom VMware products AND VDI Horizon from Omnissa.
