- Description:
- The Galerie de Broye project (part 1 of the AO) aims to fill a lack of outlet for flood flows in part of western Lausanne and to protect the area from the danger of flooding. This gallery will take the waters of the stream de Broye, the Baumettes stream and the Galicien stream to transport them to the Chamberonne. The project involves the construction of a rainwater evacuation gallery by microtunnel boring machine or tunnel boring machine, measuring 3-4 meters in diameter and approximately 1.8 km in length to its outlet in the Chamberonne. The lateral connection to resume the Baumettes stream (part 2 of the AO) is made up of three distinct sections: - PGEE 1.07 measurement: gallery 2.5 m in diameter and approximately 420 m of length connected in well no. 2 of the Galerie de Broye; - PGEE measure 1.08: outside of the mandate, this section will already be executed at the time of the work - PGEE 1.09 measure: resumption of flood flows from the Baumettes stream in a DN 1,600 collector on a length of approximately 443 m.
