• Call for External Collaborator - Scoping report on the administration of a national employment injury compensation scheme (EIS) in Bangladesh, SOCPRO, Advancing Decent Work in Bangladesh - Canada (SOCPRO, ILO) Dear Bidder,The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The Government of Bangladesh and the social partners, with the support of the ILO and development partners, have committed to establishing a national employment injury compensation scheme based on social insurance (Employment Injury Scheme - EIS). Building on the experience of a pilot project covering the ready-to-wear garment sector, it is now necessary to define more precisely the administrative and institutional design of the body that will manage the future national scheme.The ILO wishes to recruit an external consultant to prepare a structured scoping report identifying the key functions of the EIS administration, capacity needs, the main legal and governance issues, and an indicative roadmap for the phased establishment of the scheme.
