Description:
The assignment in question concerns the excavations and support works necessary for the realization of the "City of Music" project, located at the current RSI studios in Besso. The project includes, in addition to the renovation of existing buildings, also the construction of three new volumes. The construction of a new garage is planned, for which it will be necessary to carry out a major excavation and proceed with the undergrounding of the existing building. Furthermore, the project includes the construction of a new concert hall, which will require the construction of a pit with secant piles. Finally, a new wing will be built for training, the excavation of which will be of a mixed type, with sections on free slope and sections supported by pile walls secants.
