- ZAKU disposes of waste in 18 municipalities in Uri (all municipalities in Uri except Seelisberg). The resident population in the disposal area is around 37,600 residents (as of January 1, 2024). In 2025, a total of around 5,500 tonnes of waste and 2,200 tonnes of waste were collected using collection vehicles Tons of biogenic waste collected in the disposal area described. The ZAKU is re-tendering the services for garbage and biogenic waste collection for 6 years as of January 1st, 2027. Qualified transport companies are invited to participate in the submission participate and submit an offer, taking into account the required services and evidence in accordance with the submission documents.
