- Description:
- The purpose of this contract is the complete redevelopment of the southern part of Rue du Rhône and Rue du Midi, in the Municipality of Aigle, with a view to creating a Meeting Zone. This project includes green developments, tree plantations as well as the installation of a lighter coating to contribute to the reduction of urban heat islands. The work includes the demolition of existing structures such as curbs, coverings and equipment. Earthmoving operations will include the necessary excavations for the planting pits, with the installation of root guides and suitable backfilling, as well as for the underground networks intended to supply public lighting and parking terminals, and for the grids and clear water networks. The work will also include the reprofiling of the roadway and the upgrading of all elements, including the installation of the bases of the street lights and parking bollards as well as the creation of rows of paving stones, mainly for the contours of green spaces and parking spaces. Finally, the final coverings will be laid, composed of a Colbile type coating from Colas with a shot-blasted finish (or similar) over approximately 2200 m² and a surface area of approximately 175 m² of Swiss Sandstone paving stones.
