- Description:
- On the Cavadürli - Davos Laret section between km 39.281 - 40.631, a pilot road renewal is planned. A total renovation of this section of the route is planned. The track section is larger, especially in summer Track position instabilities occur. The gravel is heavily contaminated with fine particles. Due to the expansion of services, this route is heavily used, so the load on the track does not decrease. In order not to worsen the current situation, the Section to be rebuilt as soon as possible. The synergies and route closures of the station project should be used to avoid opening a construction site again at a later date (approx. in 5-10 years). At the same time this represents Track section represents an optimal test field to verify the results of the RAILplus vehicle/track interaction research project. A complete new track construction with subsurface renewal including sectional construction is planned Installation of a PSS and an AC Rail covering, including the associated drainage system. At the same time, all cable systems will be renewed and expanded. The superstructure will then be completely renewed. During the superstructure renovation, the system and Research findings from the above-mentioned research project implemented.
