• Description:
• The municipality of Hochdorf acquired the Südiareal from the Hochdorf Group in 2021 and has been pursuing a proactive development strategy since then. After the first public participation in 2022, test planning was carried out with three interdisciplinary planning teams carried out. The test planning was completed at the end of 2023 and formed the basis for the further development of the area. The planning team led by Salewski Nater Kretz developed the most convincing urban design for the southern area and was chosen for commissioned the upcoming synthesis phase to revise the draft. In a first step, the basic urban development planning was clarified, the existing building was checked for further use, the economic goals were defined and verified the socio-spatial potential is determined. A master plan was then drawn up based on the basic urban planning grid, the open space figure and the traffic concept, which now forms the basis for the upcoming special use planning and Rezoning creates.
