Description:
As part of the infrastructure project between Staldifeld and Oberdorf, extensive construction and renewal measures are implemented in order to increase the performance of the railway line and to ensure its operational safety in the long term. The first section of the project includes the expansion of a Double lane system in the Staldifeld area from kilometer 7,800 to kilometer 8,923. A track distance of 3.40 meters is realized. In the course of this work, two switches of type 900 are installed, the track drainage is completely newly created and the existing guide and Securing system replaced. In addition, the cable system is adjusted to the new lines.
Another focus of this section is on the traffic reorganization in the area of the level crossings. The two existing level crossings Staldifeld 1 and Staldifeld 2 are merged. In this context, a new access to the Upper Staldifeld property is built from the Kantonsstrasse. In addition, the existing foot and bike path is adapted to the changed track guide. The Dallenwilerstrasse must be moved as a result of the additional track.
The second section of the project concerns the TU Feld area in Oberdorf and includes the total conversion of the railway line on the section of kilometers 7,500 to kilometer.
