- Description:
- The Heslibach school complex is being expanded to include three new classrooms with group rooms. The extension will be built in the form of an extension to the existing, single-story kindergarten (built in 2009). The skylights of today's kindergarten will be expanded into light cannons, which serve to illuminate both the existing ground floor and the new upper floor. An outside staircase accesses the upper floor in the space between the old school building (today KICK, supplementary school care) and the kindergarten. For this purpose, the existing canopy and the door to Mittelfeldstrasse will be demolished. The north-facing canopy of the kindergarten serves as a supporting structure for the new arcade, which provides access to the three units. In addition, with The upper floor is accessible without obstacles using the attached elevator. In addition to the main staircase, an emergency staircase is planned on the east side. The entire extension is constructed of wood, which is also visible on the walls and ceiling inside. The new facade consists of wood and metal windows, the closed parts are covered with Eternit.
