• Description:
• The Lycée-Collège de Saint-Maurice welcomes around 1,100 students supervised by around a hundred teachers. With a long educational tradition, this emblematic place plays a key role in the gymnasium training of the canton of Valais, and enjoys a reputation confirmed. The establishment is spread over two distinct sites: * the Lycée-Collège site located in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the old town of Saint-Maurice; * the site of the Sports Zone, adjacent to the town's sports facilities. These two sites are just over 300 meters apart, or about a five-minute walk. The extension and transformation project for the Lycée-Collège provides for the construction, to the northwest of the site, of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Boarding School, owned by the Abbey of Saint-Maurice, as well as the transformation of the existing H-shaped building.
