Description: The throttle valves, separating flaps and basic displacement slide installed in the tunnel system at various points are all over 45 years old and largely still in original condition.
In order to ensure the safety and operability of the instinct water system of the Gigerwald-Mapragg stage, renovations of the installations are provided. These take place in the period of sea reduction in winter 2022/23 for increasing the inlet body in the reservoir Gigerwald.
In the throttle chamber Gigerwald a separating and a throttle valve and in the throttle chamber water lock Mapragg is a safety throttle is installed. The three flaps must be subjected to a revision (lot a) and the hydraulic controls, for three throttle valves and two basic drain protractors, must be replaced (lot b).
