Swissgrid today operates a Switzerland network grid Control Network (GCN), which ensures the safe exchange of information between the sub -works, the SGC (Swissgrid Control Center in Aarau and Prilly), the data centers of the Swissgrid and Partner Evus.
Today's GCN is located in the last third of his life cycle, which is secured by the end of 2030.
To ensure the safe operation of the SwissGrid telecommunications services in the future and to ensure reliable language and data communication, a replacement of the existing GCN is necessary.
