Description:
General planning for the district heating and wastewater transport line (Lauterbrunnen - Wengen) BKW AEK Contracting AG (BAC) is planning to build a new district heating network in the Lauterbrunnen and Wengen areas. The project involves the use of waste heat from the WWTP Lauterbrunnen as well as the use of energy wood and heating oil to ensure base and peak load supply. The heat generated will be brought to customers via a new district heating network, partly in Lauterbrunnen and mainly in Wengen. Included A transport line is planned between the heating center in Lauterbrunnen (Ara Lauterbrunnen) and the distribution network in Wengen (Roossi pumping station). The project for the transport line has already been developed up to and including SIA Phase 3.31 (preliminary project). The The preliminary project is included in the tender documents (Document D4). At the same time, a condition analysis commissioned by the local community of Lauterbrunnen showed that the existing sewage pipe between the Chalet Mittaghorn in Wengen and the ARA Lauterbrunnen is in need of renovation. Due to the spatial synergy potential with the planned district heating transport pipeline, a preliminary project for replacing the wastewater pipeline was also started.
