- The zone pumping station (ZPW) in the Hardhof groundwater (GWW) is an important part of the water supply in Zurich and for surrounding contracting partners. It supplies part of the reservoir in the city via transport lines with drinking water. The ZPW was created or put into operation in 1975. The ventilation and cold systems in the climate center are also still in operation from this time and largely unchanged.
