In 2018, the tram line No. 3 led via Burgfelderstrasse was extended to the French border town of Saint-Louis. As a result, the site of the former tram cushion on Burgfelderstrasse became free for a new building. On the ground floor there are a double kindergarten and oneDaily structure housed. In the four upper floors and on the attic, 32 apartments are created for rental to social assistance. On the 1st floor there is also the social assistance office.
