- IPC data center IPC Toolkit This procurement is intended to create the digital basis to implement Swissnoso Priority 1 “Digital Infrastructure” using the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Platform. The IPC Platform should continue to exist beyond the project period and serve to achieve the formulated goal of the national NOSO strategy of the Federal Office of Public Health of achieving an HAI prevalence of 5% in 2030 and 4% in 2035. The IPC Platform consists of two interconnected components: • the national IPC data center and • the IPC toolkits installed locally in the participating hospitals. The IPC Datacenter forms the national data infrastructure. The central data platform receives the encrypted, pseudonymized data from the hospitals, carries out national evaluations and provides the hospitals with benchmarking information for comparison and quality development. It also provides the database for national Surveillance and public health interventions. The graphical representation of the results in dashboards is a central aspect.
