Description:
The cantonal road no. 13 leads from Buetschwil to Wildhaus. The junction Wilerstrasse Ebnaterstrasse - Poststrasse in the center of Wattwil is to be structurally adapted. In 2022, the political community of Wattwil redesigned Poststrasse and Bahnhofstrasse and made the traffic regime in the junction provisional changed. The lines will be slightly adjusted over a length of 150 m. All edge borders will be repositioned and two central protection islands will be built to ensure safe crossing of the pedestrian routes. A sidewalk crossing will be implemented at the intersection of Poststrasse and Engelgasse. The street drainage is adjusted slightly. Due to the adjustment of the lines in the area of the village bridge, adjustments to the sealing using mastic asphalt are necessary.
