- The surface layer of Zürcherstrasse, section Kniestrasse to Rütistrasse, has reached its service life. The canton of St.Gallen has planned to replace around 550 m of the road surface with a noise-reducing surface layer. The edge finishes are mostly fine. Edges made of porphyry and severely damaged stones will be replaced during the renovation.
