Description:
The cantonal road No. 26 connects Flawil, Degersheim and Mogelsberg and crosses the Aachbach using the Aachbach 1 and Aachbach 2 bridges. The Aachbach 1 bridge has static deficits and does not meet the hydraulic requirements, which is why a full replacement is required. The Aachbach 2 bridge also falls below the hydraulically relevant parameters, but is overall in a structurally acceptable condition. In this case, an internal risk assessment has been carried out Repair confirmed as the best option economically and technically.
