Description:
The Oberaar throttle flap with the lower and upper water-side tunnel armor of the Grimsel 2 power plant was built as part of the expansion of the KWO power plant systems from 1978 to 1980 and equipped with primary corrosion protection. This renovation project is to completely renew this existing corrosion protection of the steel armor max. Ø 6.55 / approx. 120 m. So that the protective effect for the next decades is guaranteed again.
