- The La Branche association, a socio-educational establishment in Savigny, welcomes more than 146 children and adults with an intellectual impairment on an area of 35 hectares. Founded in 1961, it manages nine homes in a village designed to offer a secure and dynamic environment. Currently, the branch is engaged in an important ecological transition. It provides for a vast energy renovation project of its buildings, starting with the renovation of three houses dating from 1976. The work in the Lusseyran, Korczak and Pestalozzi houses (Lu-Ko-PE) provide for the renovation of the peripheral envelope, the replacement of all windows, the creation of an elevator cage, as well as the addition of bathroom and kitchens. Professional cuisine will be added to the Lusseyran house to produce meals for the three houses. In order not to compromise hygiene standards, a second regeneration cuisine will also be created in the Lusseyran house.
