Description:
The renovation measures plan to replace the surface of the Ilfis roundabout, adapt the geometry and optimize the road drainage. During the renovation, the foundation layer should be left in the ground. Wherever it is in terms of height and execution If it makes sense, the base layer should be left in the ground. Due to the drag curves of heavy motor vehicles, the geometry of the gyro needs to be adjusted. In detail, the inner ring is widened and the islands are adjusted. Due to the widening of the inner ring, the existing furniture in the roundabout center will be dismantled. In addition, areas that can be towed over by trucks will be created at the roundabout entrances, which will not be driven over by cars and slow traffic. In the southern area of the On Sägetstrasse, part of the decking will also be replaced. In connection with the planned renovation measures, the municipality of Langnau is planning adjustments to the water pipe network in the area of the junction.
