- Description of tasks The works concern the environmental remediation and final arrangement of 5 objects affected in the past by military activities (objects called lots II-VI). As part of the rehabilitation - the subject of this contract - they are from carry out all works related to the remediation of polluted sediments, according to the relevant regulations in force (OSites, OPSR and O soil) and to the final arrangement of the land. In particular, demolition, controlled excavation, processing, recycling, transport, disposal of materials with different degrees of contamination and final land management. CHARACTERIZATION AND QUANTIFICATION Numerous renovation projects have been carried out over the years in the areas affected by the rehabilitation project investigations, as part of OSiti procedures. These investigations have allowed a preliminary characterization of the land involved in this contract and an indicative quantification of the land intended for excavation and disposal. The investigations have confirmed the widespread presence of pollution in the land, attributable to military activities. The main pollutants detected are: - heavy metals (Pb, Sb, Hg) - PFAS Based on the technical investigations available, the following estimates were made quantities (excavation and excavation material involved in the project) divided into the respective pollution classes according to OPSR: Material S polluted by dangerous substances 8'650 t Heavily polluted E material 15...
