Description:
The Etzelwerk power plant, built between 1932 and 1937, uses the gradient between Lake Sihl and Lake Zurich to generate energy and produces around 10% of Switzerland's traction power requirements. After the license renewal in 2023, SBB is now renewing and replacing parts of the system of the Etzelwerk pumped storage power plant as part of the Etzelwerk power plant renewal project. The subject of this tender is the renewal of the original machine sets 1-3 as well as subsystems of machine groups 4-6. Further services are available as part of options Future renewal work on machine groups 4-7 has been tendered, which is currently planned following the work on machine groups 1-3. Further information about the project can be found in the project description (Document B1).
The following lots are part of this tender:
- Go 401 Machine groups 1 to 3, comprising the main components motor/generator and turbines of machine groups 1-3 and turbine ball valves of machine groups 1-6 (hereinafter referred to as lot 401)
- Lot 402 storage pump MG3, comprising the storage pump of machine group 3 and the pump ball valves Machine groups 3 and 4 (hereinafter referred to as lot 402)
