Description:
The section Siders Ost - Leuk/Susten East of the Rhone Autobahn A9 with a length of approx. 8,510 m runs through the Pfynwald, a nature reserve of national importance.
In this context, recovery and replacement measures (W&-measures) were used by the motorway project impaired natural habitats. In the m10121, SL planner performance wetlands, only those measures are dealt with that have to do specifically with wetlands: the mandate includes the planning services and the environmental construction support (UBB) for a total of 3 W&-measures With regard to the wetlands for the SIA phases 32 to 53.
The most important measures consist of (i) the revitalization of existing wetlands (Weiher Muggerseli and Grosssee), (II) of the layout of new wetlands (pond and temporary pools in Gartu, Auenwald and Sumps in Tschuedanga), (III) The reorganization of the hydrological system in connection with the drainage of agricultural land in the places Milliere and Ermitage, (IIII) of the re -repair old quarry Gorwetsch and the construction of a pedestrian bridge that allows the disruption of the habitats to reduce.
