Description:
The double lane line between Winterthur and Effretikon today forms a needle tube on the connection between Zurich and Eastern Switzerland. It does not allow any further offer and is also a neuralgic point in the event of disorders.
With the multi -track project Zurich - Winterthur are planning the federal government and theSBB A new double lane line through the Bruettenertunnel and the expansion of the train stations Dietlikon, Bassersdorf, Valaisellen, Winterthur and Winterthur Toess.
