• On the Inselspital Bern site, the discontinued building automation system from Johnson-Controls is to be replaced in the laboratory building at Murtenstrasse 50. Consequently, all building automation distributions must be replaced. The distributions or Controls should be replaced 1 to 1 analogously to the existing ones and adapted to the new state of the art. The field devices should be largely adopted, only the fire dampers and variable volume flow controllers of the ventilation systems Door controls are also adapted to the state of the art. The door controls are now detached from the building automation. On the premises of the University Hospital of Bern, door control has been operated via two systems for years. One is that ZUKO system that ensures entry into the buildings/rooms only for authorized people.
