- FEDRO is responsible for the maintenance of national roads. In order to keep the roads in good condition until the next major maintenance project, annual maintenance measures are required. As part of these measures, the areas of pavement that are most severely damaged are repaired every year renewed. Experience in recent years has shown that around 8 to 12 measures are necessary each year in the canton of Bern to maintain the quality of national roads. This procurement involves purchasing the relevant maintenance measures for the next five years.
