- Protection and Rescue Bern operates a catering facility at Murtenstrasse 98 for those on shift duty in the professional fire department (365 days a year, lunch and dinner). In this case, the service contract for the preparation and delivery of natural catering is being re-tendered (10,950 lunches and 6,570 dinners/year) for this catering facility plus emergency catering within 30 minutes during 24 hours. The food is currently produced externally using the cook and chill process, packaged in bulk, delivered approx. twice a week and using the regeneration process prepared by SRB employees.
