- The Winterthur Cantonal Hospital (KSW) intends to introduce a new integrated IT service Management system (ITSM) to sustain the efficiency, transparency and quality of IT services to optimize. The existing system comes close to this End-of-life point (EoL) and meets the Requirements for a modern, scalable and future-proof ITSM are now only limited. In particular, the core processes implemented in the current tool are sometimes highly individualized and not consistent implemented according to ITIL best practices. The new procurement is intended to introduce a standardized ITSM tool that comprehensively supports ITIL practices version 4 and provides a transparent and comprehensible representation of the ITIL processes enabled. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of standard processes placed to increase maintainability, reduce adjustment efforts and provide long-term support Ensuring further development. The new ITSM system is intended to cover the entire life cycle of the Map IT services and the specific requirements of a hospital in terms of availability, security and compliance and support traceability.
