Description:
The throttle valves, separating valves and bottom outlet slides installed at various points in the tunnel system are all more than 45 years old and largely still in their original condition.
In order to guarantee the safety and operability of the headrace system at the Gigerwald-Mapragg stage in the long termn Refurbishment of the built-in components is planned. These will take place during the period when the lake is lowered in the winter of 2024/25 for raising the intake structure in the Gigerwald reservoir.
In the Gigerwald throttle valve chamber there is a separating valve and a throttle valve and in the throttle valve chamber there is a water castle in Mapragga safety throttle valve installed. The safety throttle valve Mapragg has to be replaced and the add-on components have to be revised.
The two Gigerwald throttle flaps will be overhauled and the hydraulic and electric flap controls replaced via other lots (awarded in 2022).zt.
