- Appenzeller Bahnen AG (AB) is planning to comprehensively renew the railway line from Rheineck station to Walzenhausen (RhW) station over almost 2 km. The entire infrastructure of the rack railway will be renewed. The AB write construction services for the following Services from: * Road renewal, including approx. 700 m of adhesion and approx. 750 m of rack section * Renovation of 2 tunnels with a total length of approx. 370 m (slope between 160 and 262 ‰) * Renewal of 3 bridges with a total length of approx. 150 m * Renewal 3 Stops including platform and civil engineering (BehiG suitability must be established) * Renewal of the contact line system on the entire route * More underpasses and overpasses * Safety measures on embankments * Plant line construction along the route Project ATO Rheineck - Walzenhausen Appenzeller Bahnen AG (AB) is planning to comprehensively renew the railway line from Rheineck station to Walzenhausen (RhW) station over almost 2 km.
