Published by the canton of Geneva, acting as project owner, but monitored/co-led by the French and Swiss partners of the Transborder Water Community, this call for tenders is aimed at offices or groups of agents specializing in : - The transformation of data into information and knowledge to support the decision-making process (technical and political) related to environmental issues. - Design and maintenance of data platforms to support public territorial environmental policies. - The popularization of scientific data to enable public communication and citizen interaction. Why an observatory? - Dialogue space to support decision-making politics, answer the questions asked, relate public policies - Understand the functioning of water bodies (at the cross-border scale of Greater Geneva) to analyze the ecosystem services delivered; - Understand the natural and anthropogenic pressures on resources (surface and underground); - Analyze tensions between uses (current and future), facilitate trade-offs; - Find innovative and sustainable solutions (without taking more, can we redistribute more equitably); - Monitor the impact of the future cross-border strategy and its actions; - Manage crises (contingency plan) Project co-financed under the INTERREG program...
