- The procurement of the procurement "protective buildings application 2026+" is a change in the law of the cantonal population protection law, which comes into force in 2026. With this amendment to the law, responsibility for the management of the approximately 50,000 shelters from the 335 municipalities passes to the canton.At the same time, the Office for Population Protection, Sport and Military of the Canton of Bern is commissioned to build up an overall cantonal database via the shelter and the protective facilities and to provide municipal bodies, commissioned third parties and civil protection organizations to access this.The aim of the present procurement is to evaluate and procure a specialist application suitable for supporting the tasks mentioned.
