- The new pumped memory Grimsel 4 provides for the use of two identical, speed variable pumpturbins. The following main components are provided for this:
* Two speed variable pumpturbines with which it is possible to pump water from the Raterichsbodensee into the Grimselsee Turbine (is procured in a separate submission)
* Two full converters with the ability to frequency regulation in pumping and turbine operation and short response times to changes in performance;
The main task of the pumpturbine groups is to water from the Raterichsbodensee into the Grimselsee to pump or turbine in the opposite direction.
The main components of this tender are:

* Converter power section (modular multilevel converter in matrix arrangement) including throttling
* Converter internal various (current rails)
* Control unit / Circular guideline including ready -made cupboards
