Description:
A new district headquarters for Technische Betriebe Rorschach is being built in the St.Galler Kantonalbank building on Signalstrasse in Rorschach. Three technical rooms are being made available for this purpose under a servitude agreement. A new propane heat pump is being installed. The current boiler, which supplies heat to the adjacent buildings, will be taken over by Technische Betriebe Rorschach. This will enable peak loads to be covered and redundancy to be guaranteed. The aim of this construction project is to reduce the use of fossil fuels as much as possible and take a step towards decarbonisation. The heat pump will be operated in a future-oriented manner with a natural refrigerant (propane) that has a low GWP value. For this reason, additional safety measures are necessary. (Only the heat pump is part of this tender).
