During heavy rainfall, backwater occurs along the entire length of the pipe up to the rain overflow (RUe) on Dorfstrasse, triggered by the side pipes Inflows in the sewer. In order to prevent this in the future, the existing RUe with a jump weir should be dismantled and a new RUe with a strike weir created become. Connection points such as inlet and relief channels are retained. A throttle shaft with a dry hand valve including a steel pipe is provided as a throttle device. The new use of the structure as a weir can increase the height between the floor opening and the drainage channel will be used as a pressure head for the throttle pipe in the future. The jump in height is therefore overcome within the overflow area in front of the throttle, so the possible adjustment range of the throttle is increased. The structure is followed by a new mixed water pipe with an enlarged diameter up to Bachstrasse junction. The existing line will be demolished for this purpose. The new line is created using a U-trench. In addition, side house connections must be connected.
