- The Sihltal Zurich Uetliberg Bahn SZU AG plans to move its Uitikon-Waldegg stop in 2027 and 2028 in order to meet the requirements of the Disability Equality Act (BehiG). The old platform will be demolished and approx. 80m uphill, while rail operations must remain largely guaranteed. With the shift, a retaining wall up to 5m high and approx. 125m long, including a ramp structure to the neighboring district street, will be necessary. So that the edge of the platform is on P55 can be increased, the track position must be pushed at the same time. Together with the project, two neighboring level crossings will also be renovated with barrier systems, signal masts and new cable connections, as well as various works pipelines for the construction of the Retaining wall rebuilt including track crossings.
