Description:
Renovation of the Bäumlihof gymnasium and swimming pool, Basel: The high school was planned from 1972 to 1974 by Vischer Architekten AG, Basel. The facility, designed in the functional style of the 1970s, comprises a total of seven wings, including two swimming pools and six gymnasiums. The four school wings were completely renovated between September 2014 and August 2018. Section T (gym and swimming pool) was put on hold and will be completed in the coming years. The project perimeter of the renovation is limited to the building itself. A change of use is not planned. The conversion will take place in two stages, with the first stage being converted while the second stage is still in operation. After a moving phase and commissioning of the first stage, the second stage will be renovated. With The current tender is looking for a sports floor builder who can cover the six halls with a new combi-elastic floor (including UK).
