Description:
The shipyard bridge is a reinforced concrete pedestrian bridge that was built in 1979/80. The bridge is around 285 m long and from Inseli crosses the SGV shipyard area and the sea shipping tracks and ends at the parking lot of the boat harbor on Alpenquai. Current condition investigations have shown that the shipyard jetty is in poor condition, particularly in the area of the support heads (including corrosion damage with significant cross-sectional losses). There is an urgent need for action. For Comprehensive renovation measures are necessary to ensure the long-term stability of the shipyard jetty. In connection with the renovation project, the earthquake safety of the building should also be checked.
