Description:
As a distribution network operator, EWZ is responsible for safe, powerful and efficient network operation. To do this, EWZ maintains more than 800 transformer stations (TS) and over 45 rectifier stations (GR) in the city of Zurich. Due to the compression and growth of the city of Zurich, 10 to 15 ts are added annually. Many of the stations are integrated into buildings. The transport route of the up to 4 tons of components (including transport aids) is a challenge. There are two different support options: either transport is carried out directly via an underground car park or then via a dismantling transport opening in the ceiling. Here called transport shaft lid (hereinafter referred to as TSD). The TSD consists of a frame that is integrated into the building and a dismantling lid. EWZ is currently using an independently constructed TSD. This product is produced using EWZ plans and installed according to our specifications.
